Are you comfortable with people Googling you anywhere anytime?

It doesn't really matter how you feel about it because they can! This has become part of any business process.

Whether you are about to enter into a partnership or a business deal as a service provider or even applying for a job, an online search will be conducted.

A huge concern of mine are the status updates which learners and students are posting online.

It won't be long till these same students enter the job market. Are their online profiles ready to be scrutinised?

• Update it regularly
• Express your interests online and reference followers to articles
• Contribute to conversations online eg On Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter
• Position yourself as a thought leader in industry!

 

Ask yourself the question: "How would I like to be seen online?"

So next time somebody wants to know more about you, you can confidently say Google Me!
