SA's got (entrepreneurship) talent!

Category: Blog Hits: 2702

Today I would like to commend a young entrepreneur from Khayelitsha who spotted a need in the community, recognised it as an opportunity and started a business.

Sizwe, the 21 year old social entrepreneur, employs four men and they use their bicycles to deliver chronic medication to the people in the community who are too sick or too old to collect it themselves. He charges R10 per delivery and currently services 250 people in the community. Size started with only 2 clients, his grandparents.

Last week Sizwe earned his spot in Forbes Magazine’s 30 under-30 Africa’s best young entrepreneurs list. Read the full story here!

Sizwe is an inspiration to our youth and to everyone in our country. Let's encourage our youth to think out of the box, to identify opportunities, to become innovative thinkers and last but not least to work hard towards their goals.

Have a fabulous week!

Yours in Entrepreneurship
